Scope

This policy applies to visitors and registered users of our public site and dashboard, including any AI-powered features, token management, document storage and downloads.

Information we collect

• Account and identity data: name, email address, country, optional contact details, verification status and security data.
• Profile and content data: employment history, skills, role preferences, LinkedIn URL, phone, location, and any documents or text you upload or generate (CVs, cover letters, notes).
• Usage and technical data: IP address, device/browser info, timestamps, session IDs, activity logs, performance metrics and diagnostic logs.
• Token and entitlement data: token balances, token consumption, Access Pass plans, purchase confirmations and related metadata. We do not collect or store payment card details. All payment processing is performed by third‑party payment processors; we receive payment confirmations/metadata to apply entitlements you purchase.
• AI inputs and outputs: prompts, instructions and the resulting AI-generated content to deliver and improve services and for safety/abuse prevention.
• Communications: support requests, feedback and in-product messages.
• Cookies and similar technologies: essential cookies for session/authentication and optional analytics where applicable.
• Referral and campaign data: UTM parameters and similar identifiers when provided.
• Timezone and locale preferences to localise dates/times in the UI.

• Improve, troubleshoot and develop our products, including analytics, quality assurance and A/B testing (legitimate interests; consent where required).

AI-specific processing

To provide AI-assisted features, we send necessary content you supply (for example, profile details, job histories, skills, and prompts) to third-party AI providers such as OpenAI and Google/Vertex AI to generate outputs. These vendors process the data under their terms and privacy practices and may temporarily log requests for safety/abuse prevention. Outputs may contain inaccuracies ("hallucinations") or omit important details. You must fact-check all AI outputs, ensure accuracy, remove sensitive information you do not wish to share, and make any necessary corrections before use. Avoid submitting special category data (such as health, racial or ethnic origin) unless strictly necessary.

Tokens and Access Pass

AI features consume tokens. Your remaining tokens are displayed in your profile. Access to AI features and the document library is governed by your Access Pass expiry. When an Access Pass expires, AI features and library access are disabled and any remaining tokens expire. If you renew your Access Pass before it expires, all existing tokens will expire at renewal and be replaced with the new token allocation included with the renewed Access Pass.

Sharing your information

• Service providers and processors: hosting, storage, analytics, email delivery, customer support, payment processing and AI vendors.
• Legal and compliance: to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect rights, safety and security.
• Business transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition or asset sale, subject to appropriate safeguards.

International data transfers

Your data may be processed outside the UK/EEA (for example, by AI providers or cloud hosting). Where transfers occur, we rely on recognised safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement/Addendum or Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. This typically includes: account data for the life of the account; generated documents and activity logs for operational needs; and transaction records as required by law. You may request deletion of your account and content, subject to legal or legitimate business retention requirements. If you request deletion, any remaining tokens and Access Pass time will be surrendered and will not be refunded (except where a refund is required by applicable law).

Security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring. However, no system is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Who we are

Eligibility and account

• You must be at least 18 years old, or have parental consent if local law permits.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

Services, tokens and concurrency

• Some features require AI tokens. Token pricing, bundles, and the number of tokens required per task may change at any time. Changes apply prospectively.
• Tokens are a right to access features and have no cash value. Tokens are non-refundable except where required by law.
• We may implement safeguards (e.g., timed locks) to prevent abuse and ensure fair use.
• Only one AI session may run at a time per account. Concurrent AI requests may be paused or rejected.
• Where an AI task completes successfully but a token deduction would otherwise result in a negative balance, we may set your token balance to zero and still provide the resulting output (for example, documents or other results), along with a notice to you. This is at our discretion and does not constitute a waiver of our rights.

Access Pass and expiry

AI features consume tokens. Your remaining tokens are shown in your profile. Access to AI features and the document library is governed by your Access Pass expiry. When an Access Pass expires, AI features and library access are disabled and any remaining tokens expire. AI features and important disclaimers

• AI-generated content can contain errors, omissions, biased language or "hallucinations." You must carefully review, fact-check and edit all outputs before use.
• We do not guarantee that any CV, cover letter or profile generated using the services will achieve any particular outcome (including interview selection, employment, or a specific ATS score). Results vary and depend on many factors beyond our control.
• Recommendations that "may" improve ATS scores are not assurances. Because AI outputs are probabilistic, identical inputs can yield different outputs and scores may rise or fall across runs—even when using the same information or recommended changes.
• You are solely responsible for the content you submit and the outputs you choose to use. Do not submit sensitive or special category data unless strictly necessary.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the services unlawfully, to infringe rights, to reverse engineer, or to disrupt others’ use.
• Do not attempt to bypass security, rate limits or token safeguards.
• Do not upload malware or harmful code.

Intellectual property

• We and our licensors own the site, software and associated materials. All rights reserved.
• Subject to these Terms and applicable payment, you may use and export AI outputs and documents you create for your personal, non-commercial job-seeking use (or as otherwise permitted by law). You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any third-party content you supply.

Payments and billing

• All payments are processed by third-party providers. We do not collect or store payment card details. By purchasing tokens or subscriptions you agree to the payment provider’s terms.
• Taxes may apply and are your responsibility where applicable.

Privacy

Your use of the services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and process personal data, including sharing limited data with AI providers to deliver AI features.

Warranties and liability

• The services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
• We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, or for lost profits or data. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the lesser of (a) amounts you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim for the affected services, or (b) the value of unused tokens remaining in your account at the time the claim arose.

Dispute resolution

• Informal resolution: Before filing any legal claim, you agree to first notify us and allow 30 days to try to resolve the issue informally. Please use the contact page on our website to submit your notice with a brief description of the issue and your requested resolution.
• Time to bring claims: Any claim relating to the services must be brought within 12 months after the claim arises, unless a longer period is required by applicable law. This section does not limit any rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws.
• Non-excludable liabilities: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Termination
